Robin A. Combest, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on September 25, 1961, in Tulsa to Francis and Patricia (Randell) Marquiess, Robin's life was marked by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for her family.

After graduating from Broken Arrow High School in 1980, Robin pursued her education with a sincere commitment, earning an Associate's Degree in Business from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa in 1982 after moving to Ponca City after high school. Her professional journey led her to work in the records department for the Police Department, where her dedication and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on her colleagues.

In 1984, Robin was blessed with her "ray of sunshine", Aliceann. Together a bond was created that would sustain them a lifetime. The two were always close to the very end exhibiting true "unconditional Love". After moving to Ponca City Robin met Bill Combest who she soon fell in love with and married in 1987 and to that union they were blessed with their son, Drew. After that relationship dissolved in 2016, Robin remained in Ponca City where she could be close to her family and continue spoiling her grandchildren.

Robin was known fondly as a "Navy Brat," having moved frequently during her childhood due to her father's military service. Despite the transient lifestyle, she cultivated a spirit of adventure that stayed with her throughout her life. She cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren: Hali Combest, Julian Waller, Lily Wilson, Alex Wilson, Bryce Combest, and Nicole Combest. Each visit was marked by laughter, stories, and an abundance of love. She also enjoyed all the “girl trips” with her sister, Kimberly. She was a friend to everyone and she had a special love for all of her fur babies. They meant the world to her.

In her leisure time, Robin found joy in playing bingo, indulging her creativity with crafts, exploring garage sales in search of treasures, and traveling whenever the opportunity arose. Her warm and caring personality endeared her to many, and her legacy of kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Robin is survived by her children, Aliceann Wilson (Corey) of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Drew Combest of Enid, Oklahoma; her father, Francis Marquiess of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her sister, Kimberly Taber of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and her brother, John Marquiess (Joanne) of Yukon, Oklahoma. Her extended family and friends will also carry forward the love and laughter she brought into their lives.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Randell) Marquiess, and her two brothers, James Marquiess and Robert Marquiess; and brother-in-law, Greg Taber.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma

As we remember Robin, let us hold dear the memories of her kindness and the love she imparted to so many. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the beauty of connection and the warmth of love shared.
