Ross Tyrrell Combest II, 80, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 12,2025. He was born on July 21, 1945, in Sonoma, California to Ross Tyrrell and Shirley Ingraham Combest. Ross had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ross and Shirley Combest, and son Shane Comstock.
Ross is survived by his former wife Patsy Combest; daughters Jodi Combest Humphrey and husband Jaime Humphrey and Shanna Combest Folks and husband Steve Folks; step daughters Melissa Gates and partner Sean Fesler and Debbie Insch and husband David Insch; grandchildren, Ian Humphrey, Sheldon Humphrey, Tristan Humphrey, Timothy Fletcher and wife Heather Fletcher, Patrick Folks, Stephanie Thierheimer and husband Shane, Sarah Folks, Samantha Lynch and husband Casey, and Britney Martin and husband Drew; great grandchildren Kade Fletcher, Samuel Thierheimer, Skylar Thierheimer, Grady Lynch, and Micah Lynch; brothers Ralph Combest and Brand Combest and wife Kathleen; sisters Sheryl Combest and Carmell Combest and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10:00 am-11:00am at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
