Robin Delaney Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boston Cremation - Malden Care Center on Dec. 19, 2025.
Robin Delaney, age 70, entered eternal rest on December 16, 2025, after a long and courageous journey with cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love, leaving this world with the same strength and grace that guided her life.
Born on April 16, 1955, in Beverly, Massachusetts, Robin lived a life shaped by hard work, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her children and grandchildren were God's greatest gift to her and the center of her world. Through them, she found purpose, strength, and meaning in every season of life.
Alongside her role as a devoted mother and grandmother, Robin was a determined and accomplished businesswoman. Known affectionately in the business world as "Queenie," she was a respected owner in both the footwear and real estate industries. She built her success with integrity, discipline, and vision, earning admiration for both her leadership and her character. Her strong work ethic and independence were a lasting example to her children, teaching them resilience, responsibility, and perseverance through both success and challenge.
Robin was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, Brian Delaney; her parents, Donald and Jeanette Mitchell; her sister, Lorna Mitchell; and her nephew, Mathew Murphy, who preceded her in death.
She is lovingly survived by her three sons: Brendan Delaney and his wife, Melissa Dixey, and their son, Parker Delaney; Mitchell Delaney; and Orest Manzi IV and his wife, Lia Manzi, and their daughters, Olivia and Zoe. She is also survived by her sisters, Kim Costas, Sherry Murphy, and Jennifer Mitchell, as well as Patricia Mitchell, her loving life partner; Joseph DiGrazia; her uncle and aunt, Mario and Maureen Cotoia; and Joanna Cotoia, in addition to all her nieces and nephews.
Robin will be remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and unconditional love. A woman of quiet strength and deep compassion-mother, grandmother, and sister. She lived her life with purpose, dignity, and grace.
2 Corinthians 12:9
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
A celebration of Robin's life will be held on January 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 35 Conant Street, Beverly, Massachusetts. A burial service will follow. A celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2026. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robin, please visit our floral store.
