Robin Kaye Dewey 74, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas on September 1, 2025.

Robin was born on July 25,1951 in Utica, New York to Robert and Claudine Jones Hemstrought.

Robin is preceded in death by both of her parents and sister, Dana Hemstrought and loving husband Bob Dewey.

Robin is survived by daughter Leslie (Sloan) St. Germain, and special grandson Walker Minor. Other family members include Patty Hemstrought, Debbi Moore, Robert (Megan) Hemstrought, Pat Dubois, Shawn (Sara) Sharratt, Remi Sharratt, Emily and Abby Hemstrought, Joli St Germain, numerous cousins and her puppy Lacie Lou.

Robin grew up in upstate New York and attended Grier School for girls where she made many special friendships. She spent many summers in Cooperstown, New York waterskiing and causing trouble, she later met her husband Bob there and married. They moved to Granbury in 1976 and made several special friends and memories over the years. Robin was an avid and competitive tennis, pickleball, softball, racquetball, volleyball and card shark. There isn't a game she didn't want to win.

She leaves behind many special friends to name a few Glenda Allen, Tommy Humphries, Terry and Lori McAdams, Hayes and Tammy Stripling.

Celebration of life will be held on October 11,2025 at Pecan Country Club from 10:30am-1:30 please come and share memories. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Hood County Animal Shelter.
