Robin Findley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors - Utica on Apr. 4, 2022.
Robin Viola Findley, 61 of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away on the 26th day of March, 2022 with her fiancé Dennis by her side.
She was born on April 2nd, 1960, to John and Wanda Parshall of St. Louis, where she and her six siblings were raised. She graduated from St. Louis High School in 1978. After spending a few years in Germany with her late husband, Dan, they moved back to the area and started a family. She worked many jobs but was most proud of her work with the St. Louis School District and with Community Mental Health as a Club House Advocate.
Robin is survived by her fiancé, Dennis Connolly, and her three sons; Jason (Sonja) Findley, Nicholas Findley (Tracy Towne) and Jonathon Findley; her sisters Annette (Jack) Hasten, Sue (Jerry) Miller, Diane (Eric) Krsek, brothers; Mike (Connie) Parshall, and Bill (Shirley) Parshall; as well as seven nieces and nephews. She is remembered as a beloved Meemaw & Grams to Lilliana, Dan, Rozalyn, Heidi and Aurora; and devoted friend to Clay & Kerrie Rule and Nina & Michael MacGregor. Robin is preceded in death by her parents John and Wanda, her husband Dan Findley and brother Patrick Parshall.
She spent her most recent years enjoying life with her fiancé, Dennis, and treasured cat, Pumpkin Kitty Sweetie Baby (whose full name has been the subject of much debate). She had an ever-welcoming home, with country music on the radio and coffee around the table, she was always ready for a game of dice. On Friday nights, she delighted in meeting friends for dinner and playing cards while her weekends were spent enjoying time with the young children in her life.
Robin's family and friends remember her generous spirit, infectious zest for life, and kind heart who touched the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her.
There will be a celebration of life luncheon on Saturday, April 9th 1:00-5:00 pm at the VFW Post in St. Louis, Michigan, 1295 W. Monroe Street. The family invites you to please bring a dish to pass, but if you cannot, please come and help us celebrate a beautiful woman who lived a beautiful life.
