Robin George Obituary
Robin was born on April 16, 1955, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Ray Wood and the late Carolyn Crabtree O'Neal. She earned a master's degree in sociology and spent her career as a manager for a finance company. Robin was an avid reader and cherished the friendships she made through the Red Hat Society, where she found joy, laughter, and community.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin George; daughters, Carolyn Markley (Jason Beardan), Lisa Meeks; grandchildren, Benjamin Morgan (Tiffany Morgan), Joshua Morgan (Brianna Morgan), Megan Brown (Austin Humphrey), Bridgette Meeks, Brooke Meeks (Jonathan Smith); great-grandchildren Jada Byrd, Chase Byrd, Scott Morgan, Elias Morgan, Noah Morgan, Tatem Morgan, Kohen Morgan, Jonah Morgan, Atlas Humphrey, Grayson Vest, Garrett Moss, and Maverick, who is on the way. Robin is also survived by her sisters, Jane Wages and Raye Liu.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Dockery.
