Robin Fagg Hairston, 57, went home to be with our Lord on January 17, 2024, with her loving husband by her side at Moses Cone Hospital. The memorial service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 5:00PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 4-5:00PM and other times at the home.
Robin was born February 12, 1966, in Greensboro NC, to the late Sidney Fagg and Patricia Wood. She was the only daughter among five children. Robin worked 30 years at Unifi Inc. Robin was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her everyday life. Robin met and married the love of her life Pierre in the Summer of 2013 and kept a smile ever since. Robin loved to travel and take road trips. Robin always had something funny to say. She brightened up any room that she walked in and she was the only woman I knew that could walk out with a new friend and a new job opportunity . Robin was special, and her faith was important. She knew in her heart that God loved her, and Robin made sure to showcase that to everybody she met.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Tommy Hairston.
She is survived by her loving Husband, Pierre Hairston. Her daughters, Shannon "Pookie" Hargrove(Quinton Simpson), Sierra Hairston-Fennel(Katie). Her Sons, Nick Martin and Latwaun Hairston. Her five brothers, Gary Fagg(Debra), Dennis Marshall, Alan Fagg(Lisa), Patrick Fagg, and Phillip Hairston (Jessica). Her grandchildren, ReNiyah, Zoey, Zaylen, Wells, and Quinton Pierre. Her Godchildren, Justin, Angelica, and Caleb. Her loving mother-in-law, Cynthia Hairston. And a host of aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.
With the words from Robin, Now y’all be Gucci and I love y’all so much.
