Robin was a fun girl and I will always remember the fun times we had working together at our salons in the Suites.
She was such a bubbly person & always smiling! My deepest condolences to her family.

To Cameron, Haley and the entire James family: I am so sorry that Robin lost her battle. I know she fought like a banshee to beat this awful disease. I have known her for more years than I can count and she was a great person with an infectious laugh...and I can honestly say my hair never looked the same after she retired. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with her kids, grandchild and boyfriend.

My first memory of Robin was back in `89 when I transferred to Tennessee School of Beauty when I moved to be closer to my family, who already lived here. We became friends immediately and have remained friends for the the past 34 years. We worked together at our first salon job, then a couple salons doing nails together, she helped me in my salon, and then went on to pursue doing hair. We had so many laughs in the salon as we were always up to shenanigans. She pierced my nose with an ear piercing gun when we got bored and were left alone in the salon for a few hours-as a typical example. Robin always had the best sense of humor and was so funny. I remember one time we went to the zoo. Mike went with us, and I think someone I was dating at the time (maybe her cousin) There were mulberry trees in the woods along the pathways. She saw the mulberries and she went right over and starting picking and eating them, trying to climb the tree to reach them. I laughed and kidded her about it for a long time. Robin was in my wedding when I got married to my first husband. I remember when Robin was pregnant with Cameron. We did nails at Vogue at the time. She worked really close to her due date. Her feet were swollen and she was wearing house slippers. We laughed at how she was trying to sit to do no nails with her belly. We ate a lot of Krystal´s while she was pregnant with Cam. Always with chili cheese fries and dipping them in a chocolate shake- every time I get Krystal´s it is the same combination to this day and it makes me think about those days. We have had many many long talks and support for our daily lives. There are many things that will remind me of my friendship with Robin. I will always have fond memories of her and I will miss her greatly. Goodbye for now my sweet friend. Thank you for being my friend all these years.
