Robin Kotz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Dec. 9, 2025.
Robin Kotz (née Mucha), age 69, of Onancock, VA, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on November 12, 2025.

Robin was the beloved wife of 41 years to Randall ("Randy") Kotz, who predeceased her in 2024. She is survived by her niece, Simone Videtto (Bill), and her sister-in-law, Nancy Shore Abbott (Jim). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Janice Shore Berg (Tristan), Elisa Shore Rickett (Neil), and Audrey Abbott, as well as her nephew, Rufus Abbott, grandnieces, Jamie (Nic) and Sophia Videtto and Edith and Margaret Rickett.

She was preceded in death by her father Edward Mucha, her mother Betty Mucha, and her sister Jamie Stinson (née Mucha).

Robin graduated from Lower Merion High School, in Ardmore, PA, and immediately pursued her passion for food and the restaurant industry. It was this world of fine food, freedom of spirit, and music that eventually brought Robin and her beloved Randy together. They were inseparable, and it is nearly impossible to speak of one without the other. Robin and Randy shared a deep love of the water and were happiest at the beach especially in Cape May, their sacred summer place. Robin adored "all creatures great and small," especially the dogs she and Randy cherished over the years. They were, without question, the deeply loved and thoroughly spoiled children they never had.

A creative force in every respect, Robin had an extraordinary talent for interior design, transforming simple elements into spaces that were warm, inviting, and uniquely her own. She was also an exceptional cook, a gift anyone fortunate enough to sit at her table could attest to. Her creativity extended to many forms of art, each reflecting her distinctive spirit.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robin's memory to the Eastern Shore SPCA, P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418 (www.shorespca.com).

Memory tributes may be shared with the family at www.williamsfuneralhomes.com.
