A public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Chapel. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Filbrandt Chapel. Pastor Mary Hoots of Ray of Light Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery, in Casco Township. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.
Robin owned and operated Maynard's Customized Concrete and Construction for over 25 years, even working thru his time in the hospital. He married his wife, Julie, (Davis) in Bravo, Michigan on February 5, 1983. She survives along with their children, Shaunda (Mike) Stone, Justin Maynard, and Ashley Maynard, all of Pullman. Also, surviving are 7 grandchildren, Jayda, Xavier, Fayth, Devin, Haidyn, Mahalia, and Tristian, 1 great-grandson, Remington Richards, 2 sisters, Frieda Maynard and Sheila Sharp. A brother, Alvie "Gail" Maynard, preceded in death.
Robin enjoyed his working life in the construction business, especially the concrete part of business. He loved to travel and was doing more of that as he was slowly working towards retirement. He had been trying to pick up gardening and loved relaxing on the deck.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel of Starks Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 269-637-0333.
