Diane Gail Maynard, 71, of Beaver, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Peacefully, October 24, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, Ohio.
Diane was born February 1, 1954, in Lucasville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Luther and Geneva (Buckler) Alley.
Diane was a homemaker. She loved to shop, cook, and decorate extremely for the holidays, with Christmas being her favorite.
She is preceded in death by one son, Rex Maynard; and brothers, Amos, Harold, James, Tim, Virgil, Jackie, Richard, and Donald Alley; and her sisters, Glenna Fultz, Caroline Cassidy, and Sharon Garner.
Diane is survived by her husband of 51 years of whom she married June 20, 1974, James Wetzeo Maynard; one daughter, Cristel Exline, of Beaver, Ohio; two sons, Brian and Danny Maynard, both of Beaver; three brothers, Dutch Alley, of Lucasville, Mike (Garnet) Alley, of Lucasville, and Randy (Bonnie) Alley of Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Mayton, Anna (Brandon) Maynard, Alexis (James) Clay, Devin Maynard, Aaron Maynard, Adriana Maynard, Sara Rose, Megan (Matthew) Maynard, and Brooklyn, and Dalyn Exline; and three great grandchildren, Sophia Rose, Mya Rose, and Gloria Kate Robinson.
A Celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Twin Lakes Resort, 273 Tackett Lane, Piketon, Ohio, 45661 with Pastor Rick Evans officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Boyer Cremation Services.
