Robin Lynette Pennington

Robin Lynette Taylor Pennington, loving mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on November 27, 2023 at Sentara Obici Medical Center in Suffolk, VA at the age of 62. She was born on June 2, 1961 to Dorothy Silvester Taylor and the late Robert Graham Taylor.
Robin worked as an Administrative Assistant in Medical Records at Health East. She loved decorating, especially at Christmas, and had a tree for every season. Her grandchildren were of the greatest importance to her.
Robin is survived by her mother; her children, Shannon Foltz (Bucky) and Sam Arvanitis (Dan); her sisters, Vicky Hampton, Rhonda Curling, and Debra Raynor; her brothers, Robbie Taylor, Wayne Taylor, and Earl Sanderlin; two grandchildren, Riley and Greyson Foltz; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Budnick and her stepmother, Phylis Taylor.
Robin was strong willed and fought a long battle with her illnesses. During this difficult time, her loved ones find solace in the memories they shared with Robin. They will forever hold her in their hearts.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Twiford Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards funeral costs.
