Robin Lee Reese passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 46. She was born on May 25,1978 to Pat and Jackie (Marsh) Hall in Denver CO. She grew up in the Quad Cities and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1996 and Iowa State University in 2001 with a BS in Business Management, Marketing and Related Support Services. She excelled academically and developed a very large circle of friends along every stage of her life.
Robin met the love of her life, Ryan Reese, through mutual friends in 2009 and they were married on September 21, 2012. They settled in West Des Moines and welcomed a son, Lincoln, in July 2013. Lincoln was her everything. Robin enjoyed watching Lincoln play soccer and took great pride in his athletic skills and seeing him excel.
Robin joined Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in 2014 as a Senior Account Executive working with many of their largest and most valued customers. Her ability to connect with people, to understand their needs and negotiate suitable solutions made her a natural fit for the role. She will be missed by her co-workers and clients.
Weekends and holidays were filled with friends and gatherings. Vacations, holiday traditions, small celebrations and warm-weather days were always made more special by sharing time with friends. Robin's magnetic and bright personality made friendships easily. She maintained friendships with high school classmates, college friends and former co-workers though they were not all in the same city. Friends were like family to her and she will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Ryan, son Lincoln, her father and mother Pat and Pam Hall, brothers Greg (Lisa) Mundorf and Tony (Erin Koehn) Hall, sister Debbie Mathis, mother-in-law, Janis Reese, nephews Chance Mundorf, Ryder Mundorf, Ty Marshall Kody Marshall and Griffin Koehn, nieces Abigail Hall, Mattea Marshall and Addie Koehn, stepfather Mike Schumacher, stepsisters Brooke Clark and Amy Dickerson, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jackie Schumacher, paternal grandparents Lewis and Jeanette Hall, maternal grandparents Max and Dorothy Marsh, father-in-law Tom Reese and brother-in-law Rick Reese.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 7th at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial following in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, January 6th at Overton Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Robin may be given to family
