Obituary of Robin Dale Rongitsch
Robin Dale Rongitsch passed away on June 19, 2024 at her home at the age of 63. She was a resident of Red Wing, Minnesota. Born October 1, 1960, she was the loving daughter of Lytle and Mary-Etta (Keetley) Bystrom.
Robin was united in marriage with Michael Rongitsch on February 18, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was a marriage filled with much love, joy and adventure.
Robin graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1978. She was a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ellsworth until its recent closure. Robin went on to work many years in the photography industry, specializing in family portraits and eventually moving on to managing Photo Fair in Red Wing. She finished her working career at Koozie Group in Red Wing. Robin's true passion in life was her family and photography. She had a keen sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She was well-known in her family for her inability to cook anything but Hamburger Helper, which she excelled at. "It is what it is." She will be remembered as a kind, loving person and a gifted photographer, with a huge love of family.
Robin is survived by her sister, Sandra (Kim) Hall; sister-in-law Nancy (Mike Trudell) Bystrom; step-daughter Sherry Boggs; nieces and nephews Angela (Joe) Melson; Jim (Michelle) Wilcox; Carrie (Brandon) Foxworth; Jason Bystrom; Hailey Phoenix; and Sarah (John) Cook; several great-nieces and nephews; and many friends, especially her good neighbors Bob, Donnie, and Stacie.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Lytle & Mary Bystrom; beloved husband, Mike Rongitsch; brother, Dean Bystrom; and stepson, Joseph Rongitsch.
A private graveside memorial gathering will be held at a later date at Trenton Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made in Robin's memory to a rehabilitation facility of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
