Robin E. Simunovich

Robin E. Simunovich (nee Huey) left us on August 30, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL and has resided in Colts Neck for the last several years. She is predeceased by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son Ryan and his wife, Jessica; her son David and his wife Ami; two step-sons, Peter and Mark, and their wives, Kelly and Iris; four grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby and his wife, Kathy, and Reid; a loving sister-in-law Maria Kerfoot and her husband, Frank; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robin's grandchildren held a special place in her heart. They will remember her warm embrace, spontaneous adventures, never-ending pillow-fights, and creative pumpkin carving.

Robin set an incredible example for her children. She prioritized her family and also managed a demanding and successful career in computer program administration. She spent most of her career at AT&T and Verizon. She was also a constant learner -- her stained glass creations decorate churches and friends' homes; her drawings are hung with pride; her woodworking and home improvements will last generations. And her outdoor adventures – skydiving, hang gliding, kayaking – provide many fond memories. She had a positivity and irrepressible spirit that will always be remembered by family, friends, and coworkers.

In addition to devoting many hours to her church, she was also a hospice volunteer. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Home Care & Hospice Association of NJ, which helps bring hospice care to the underserved.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 4th, at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank from 11:00-2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on the same day at 3:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 90 Kings Highway, in Middletown, where she was a member.
