Donald Simunovich Obituary

Donald Eugene Simunovich of San Jose, California transitioned home on January 13, 2022, at the age of 89.

Donald was born in Watsonville, CA on May 9, 1932, to John and Jennie Simunovich. Donald was married to Carolyn Soito Simunovich; they were married for 56 years until her death in November 2012. Donald was a proud union carpenter in San Jose from 1959 until his death.

Donald is survived by his children; Bryan (Andrea) Simunovich, Donna (John) Wolfe, Donald (Cynthia) Simunovich II, and Jon Simunovich; his stepchildren Maya Novelli and Steven Novelli; along with numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, along with his siblings Genevieve, Anna, Helen, Carol and John. There will be a military funeral and burial at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, 127 Hecker Pass Rd., Watsonville, CA on Friday, January 21 at 11:00a.m. Mehl's Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
