Robin G. Sloma, age 64, of Brillion, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Robin was born on October 5, 1960 in Manitowoc, son of the late Gerald & Sarah (Cavanaugh) Sloma. He worked on a farm for a few years. He then became a truck driver for Kasson Cheese, other farms, and drove dump trucks for Calnin & Goss, INC until his retirement in August of 2025. Robin enjoyed hunting deer, sturgeon spearing, grilling out, and fishing. He was a member of the Brillion Conservation Club and the Eastshore Fishing Club. Robin met and has been with his love, Jean Klug for over 20 years. She and Robin would go fishing together, would go out to eat, and spend time with family and Jean’s grandchildren.
Robin is survived by his love and best friend, Jean Klug of Brillion; her children: Cari (Jesse) Krepline, Mark (Erin) Klug, all of Brillion, and John (Missy) Klug of Versailles, MO; grandchildren: Maggie, Hunter, and Olivia Krepline, Alayna and Colton Klug, and Sabastian and Carter Klug; his sister: Sandra Sengbush; niece: Sierra; Sierra’s children: Kara, Owen, and Caleb; Jean’s siblings; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald & Sarah; siblings and in-laws: Mark, Bruce, Kimberly (Rick) Lorenz; other relatives; and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Pielhop Funeral Home in Brillion. Officiating will be Deacon Greg Van Thiel.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
