Robin Lucille Thomas

Robin Lucille Thomas was born on November 15, 1969, to the late Robert Thomas and Annie Mae Pettway. She was a proud graduate of South Fork High School, Class of 1987.
Robin was a dedicated and hardworking woman, known for always keeping a job and never shying away from long hours. Her strong work ethic was matched only by her deep love for others. She embraced people from all walks of life and was affectionately known as "Auntie" to many not just by blood, but by heart. Family and friends meant the world to Robin.
She loved fiercely and spoke her truth honestly. As the life of every gathering, she could connect with anyone, regardless of age. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family deeply respected and adored her. Robin's love was unwavering, her loyalty unmatched, and her presence unforgettable. Even in difficult times, she remained strong-always showing up, giving, and loving until the very end.
She had a profound love for books and music. Considered the family's unofficial librarian, Robin owned an impressive personal collection of books. She often loaned them out, but you were expected to return them she made sure of that!
Robin was preceded in death by her father, Robert Thomas, and her cherished grandmother, Lucille "Grandma Mist" Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memory her only daughter, Carolyn Thomas of Hobe Sound, Florida; her granddaughters, Aubrey Johnson and Jael Key, and bonus granddaughter Janariya Key; her loving mother, Annie Mae Pettway; and her special son, Anthony L. Smiley Jr. (Ursula), along with special grandchildren Zion and Atlas Smiley, all of Hobe Sound, Florida. She is also survived by her sisters Sandra Tilman of Hobe Sound, Florida; Jacqueline Anderson of Hobe Sound, Florida; Roxie Thomas of Hobe Sound, Florida; Candance Torres (Jose) of Hobe Sound, Florida; June Jones (Eddie) of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Casandra Jones (Curtis) of Port Salerno, Florida; and Joyce Cunningham of North Carolina. Her brothers are Kennith Pettway (Angela) of Hobe Sound, Florida; Timmothy Pettway of Hobe Sound, Florida; and Stanley Robert Thomas of Port Salerno, Florida. In addition, Robin leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.
Robin's life was a beautiful testament to love, strength, and community. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
