Robin Louis Turley

Robin Louis Turley, 64, passed away peacefully in Mesa, AZ surrounded by family on January 23, 2026.

Robin was born September 8, 1961 of Arland and Gloria Turley in Flagstaff, Arizona and spent most of his childhood in St. John's, Arizona. Growing up, one could find Robin involved in sports, fishing, or shooting. He attended NAU where he graduated with a Master's in teaching and met Loretta Jarvis and were married in December of 1989. They had their first son Weston in Flagstaff, then work took him down to Nogales AZ, where he would teach photography, graphic arts and design at Nogales High Scool for 29 years.

During his life in Nogales, he welcomed three wonderful daughters, Bailey, Demi, and Kadie, and another son, Drake. At Nogales High School he made the year books, school shirts, coached football, volleyball, and soccer all throughout his tenure. He retired and moved back to St. John's where he enjoyed spending time serving friends and family.

Robin fell ill to cancer in April 2025 and fought a long battle for 9 months. Robin was happiest when he was with his children and seven grandchildren, watching sports or fishing. Robin influenced the lives of many students in Nogales and took tremendous pride in seeing his students succeed. He made friends out of anyone who entered his life and cared about each one of them, loved and will be missed by all. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Gloria Turley. He is survived by his father (Arland), four siblings, five children, and seven grandchildren. Robin Turley's celebration of life will be in St. John's, AZ at 35 W Cleveland St, St. John's AZ 85936 on February 21st from 11-1pm.
