Roby U. Gray Jr.

Roby Ulysses Gray Jr., beloved son of Inez Campbell and Robert L. Davis Sr., and raised by Roby Gray Sr., began his life's journey on August 15, 1955. Surrounded by the love of family, his earthly journey came to a close on November 14, 2025, at his home.
Roby began his early education experience in Delaware, where he attended George Gray Elementary School. His education experience continued with him attending Warner Middle School and PS DuPont High School. Roby attained a scholarship to play football at Bassick High School in Bridgeport, CT, where he graduated in 1974. He then attended Delaware State College.
Roby was an owner-operator of a restaurant in PA. He was later employed at the Sheridan Hotel Suites in Wilmington, DE, for many years. Roby enjoyed life. He loved making music in his home studio. He also loved to watch his favorite football team, the Eagles (Go Birds!), and enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends.
Roby was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Campbell; Roby Gray Sr., and Robert L. Davis Sr.; brothers, Gregory Davis and Robert Davis Jr.; sisters, Bette Davis and Cathy Davis; and his son, Antoine Gray Sr.
Roby leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Michael Moody, Maury Moody, and Roby Gray (Lakeeya); one daughter, Sabrina Warren; 13 grandchildren, Z'Nayah, Nahrai, Kamauri, Rhythm, Michael Jr., Sarah, Julius, Antoine Jr., Kiron, Jaylin, Tatania, Riley, and Elijah; two sisters, Augusta Davis and Joan Davis-Rich (Edwin); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
