Rochelle Coutu Obituary
Rochelle D. Coutu, 77, of Northbridge MA died Tuesday (October 14, 2025) at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Webster MA after a period of declining health.
Rochelle was born in Franklin MA, the daughter of the late Francis Coutu and the late Leila (Littlehale) Coutu. She attended public schools in Mendon MA.
Rochelle was first employed as a young woman as a caretaker at various nursing facilities in the greater Milford, Mendon & Blackstone area. She then worked as a machinist at her cousin's business located in Holliston MA. Following that she had been employed for many years at Potpourri located in Medway MA.
Rochelle loved to do all kinds of crafts and was an avid woodworker.
Rochelle is survived by her daughter: Dianne Keefe and her husband Christopher Keefe of Woodstock CT; her 3 granddaughters: Paige Keefe, Payton Keefe & Hailey Keefe all of Woodstock CT; her 5 siblings: her twin brother: Russell Coutu of Maine, Thomas Coutu of Florida, Edward Coutu and his wife Sarah of Iowa, Joanne Field of Maine & Terri-Ann Desnoyers of Massachusetts; also several nieces & nephews.
Rochelle was the sister of the late Frances Lee Robinson; the late Florence Shepherd; the late Norma Sylvester and the late Mark Coutu.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Committal Service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute @ Milford Regional Medical Center, c/o the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation, 14 Prospect Street, Milford MA 01757.
