Roderick Douglas Obituary
Roderick passed away on December 25, 2025. To all who knew and loved him, Roderick was known by many nicknames, including Hot Rod, Rod, and Rico-each one reflecting the many connections and memories he shared with others throughout his life.
Roderick was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; his sons: Marquis and Tyler, who were the pride and joy of his life; his parents, Annie and Thomas Douglas; and his brother, Thomas L. Douglas II.
Family meant everything to Roderick, and he was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He found peace and happiness outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, golfing, or tending to his garden. Roderick was also a proud and loyal San Francisco 49ers fan, always cheering on his team. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family and took great pride in being a dedicated husband and father.

Rest easy Hot with much love and respect. I will always remember you giving me those talks and not afraid to tell me you would bust my a** if I didn't tighten up. Definitely will be missed. One of the best bosses ever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Hot Rod was one of a kind! My Logan´s roadhouse memories are timeless he had a heart of gold and a passion for anything he put his mind too! From Mimicking golf swings during a busy shift or getting us all back in line he knew how to do it all! As long as it was nothing "frufru" ofcourse! Rest easy Hot! High-five the fellow road-dawgs for us!!
