Rodney Salome Duenas

Rodney Salome Dueñas, a lifelong resident of California, was born on July 18, 1965. He passed away peacefully in his home in Riverside County on December 30, after a lengthy battle with health issues. Rodney is preceded in death by his wife Rene Mooneyham Dueñas, parents Salome Dueñas and Irma Blanca Lopez, and sisters Rita Dueñas and Deborah Herrera. He is survived by his brothers Jerry Herrera, Ruben Figueroa Dueñas, his sisters Dalia Melchor and Gabby Mayfield, his daughters Alanna Cortes, Kaylynn Grace Perez, and Christina Mooneyham, and his grandchildren Sasha, Leanna, Sabrina, Ezekiel Cortes, Ricardo Leon, and Izak, Ozzie, Leo, and Jazmyne Barillas, and god-daughter Marlene Barajas. Rodney was an accomplished construction worker having worked for the Union for many years. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and keeping fit by exercising daily. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in his honor at a later date in Ventura County.
