Rodney Lopez Gomez

Rodney Lopez Gomez entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2026 at the age of 58. He is preceded in death by his brother; Richardo L. Rodriguez. Rodney is survived by his spouse; Paula Gomez, sons; Richard Gomez (Petra), and Damon Gomez (Brittany). Daughters; Desiree Gomez (Adrian), and Chole Gomez (Pet). Sister; Janet Jenkins. Grandchildren; Ahava Gomez, Alia Gomez, Jayden Gomez, Aliana Ramirez, Adrian Ramirez, Neveah Gomez, Nya Gomez, Damon Gomez Jr., and Doannie Gomez. Rodney and Paula were married for over 38 wonderful years. Rodney loved his wife dearly. He enjoyed having family time, listening to music, watching the news, and wrestling. He also loved to park at Culebra Meat Market, and H-E-B. Rodney always made sure to have a nice hot bowl of his mother-in-laws beans, which he always enjoyed. He always took care of his dog Chole, and always made sure she ate table food. Rodney will be missed ball his family and friends. Services are as follows:

Sunday- February 15, 2026

12p.m.-3p.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. With a rosary to be recited at 1p.m.

All services will conclude at 3p.m.
