Rodney Eugene Mauk

A memorial service for Rodney Eugene Mauk, 68, of Belton, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton Texas.

Mr. Mauk went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, March 28, 2026, peacefully at his home in Belton TX.

Mr. Mauk was born April 21, 1957, in Hearne TX, to Gilfert Vincent Mauk and Maudys Rosalyn Corn Mauk. He married Cheryl Lynn Googe Arledge, November 23, 2002 in Caldwell TX. Rodney worked at Texas A&M University Building and operations, and later for Texas A&M Health Science Center of Temple TX where he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Vincent Milford Mauk and his first wife, Norma Isabel Porres Mauk.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Mauk; three daughters Hannah Gabrielle Mauk Zembo and husband Zachary; Margo Rochelle Mauk, and Jessie Lynn Lisenbe and husband Del; three sisters Rosemary Mauk Galloway and husband Bill, Judy Mauk Dunham and Michelle Mauk Daniels; four grandchildren, Alexis Layne Lisenbe, Avery Linden Arledge, Jaya Lynn Lisenbe and Wren Emery Zembo, along with many nieces and nephews.
