Rodney Allen McDaniels

Rodney Allen McDaniels of Gulfport, Mississippi, originally from Wisconsin, has sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with CHF and Chron's Disease on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Rodney was born in Janesville, Wisconsin and was happily loved by his late mother and father June and Rollie McDaniels. He attended Beloit Memorial High School for a brief time, but quit school to enjoy life and do mechanic work and odd end jobs. Rodney's true passion was drawing and man on man could this man draw. He along the years made drawings for his family, his kids, as well as his oldest granddaughter Adelynn. Rodney's nickname for most people who truly knew him was "Hot Rod". He was loved by many people including his children and his late partner Rhonda Harold. Rodney's children are still reeling in shock from this news. He always and will always be the protector of his beloved Ashley McDaniels who was and always will be his baby girl. Rodney is now living up in the sky with his true soulmate and is no longer chained by earthly duties.
Rodney is survived by his children, Ashley McDaniels, Shelby (John) Harold/Yeomans, and Amber (Matt) Jensen; grandchildren which he would tell people he was too young to be a papa, Adelynn, Emmalyn, Kendallyn, Hunter, and Karsyn and will miss you more than words can express. He also has two other children who lost contact with him over the years, Savanna Brewster, and Allen McDaniels. Rodney also had a sister Jennifer Luna (McDaniels) who will also miss him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Rollie McDaniels; and his late partner, Rhonda Harold.
