Roe H. Mace, Jr. was preceded in death by parents, Roe and Dutheal Mace; wife, Sandra Mace; son, Roe H. Mace, III; brothers, Jimmy, Duke, Bill; sisters, Rose-Rae, Phyllis, Sharon, Linda. Survived by wife, Charlotte Mace; son, Fredrick Mace; daughters, Janie Jo (Nicholas), Rebecca (Steven) Humphrey, Stacey (Tyler), Kristie (Josh); brother, John Mace; sister, Dutheal (Larry) Dueling; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
VISITATION 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, September 26, at Roeder Mortuary. FUNERAL SERVICE 11 a.m., Friday, September 27, at Roeder Mortuary. INTERMENT Forest Lawn Cemetery.

I remember the night Roe proposed to Sandy on Aunt Eleanor's front porch. He was a good man. I'm sure his wings were waiting on him.

I Went to grade school at Sherman with Roe. I always remember him as being a very nice person. Sorry we lost contact after that. I am So sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathies to his family.

I grew up on the same block as Roe. Had not seen him in many years.
