About
Roger Ables Obituary
A native of Toccoa, Georgia, son of the late William Jennings and Lois Rogers Ables, he was a graduate of Clemson University where he received his PhD, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of First Presbyterian Church Greer.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Cogan Ables of the home; a son, B.J. Ables (Krystal) of Austin, Texas; a brother, Rudy Ables (Sonya) of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
Dr. Ables was predeceased by his twin brother, Ronnie Ables.
A cryptside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church Greer Columbarium conducted by Rev. Will Shelburne with Military Honors.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Greer, 100 School Street, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
