Roger Allen Andersen

Roger Allen Andersen, age 87 of Buffalo, MN, died peacefully on April 30, 2024 after courageously battling dementia for nearly 5 years.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and Donna, his loving wife of 61 years. Roger is survived his four children: Jory (Robert) Rohlin, Tara (Joel) Partridge, Staci (John) Scherber, and Joel (Sheila) Andersen; his 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Roger served our country as an officer in the Coast Guard prior to embarking on a 30+ year career in the electric power supply industry. After retiring, Roger remained active with multiple construction projects, which included building a 3-car garage completely by himself. Roger also enjoyed diving, swimming, roller skating, working out, and tearing up the dance floor with his wife Donna any time jazz music started playing. While hanging out with family and friends, Roger was known to enjoy drinking a good scotch or glass of wine. Roger was always driven to learn new things. As such, he spent a lot of time reading.
Per Roger's wishes there will be no formal memorial service. Buffalo, MN will be his final resting place.
