Roger Anderson, 81, of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 24, 1943 in Browns Mills, NJ, to Anna Paul and Lyman Anderson. Roger was a lifelong resident of Browns Mills, recently moving to Southampton, NJ. Roger was Assistant Director of Plant Operations at Deborah Heart and Lung Center for 26 years and Burlington County College Director of Maintenance for 5 years.
Roger cherished his children and grandchildren immensely, always spending time with them and making sure his family was always taken care of. He loved to cook, barbeque, and spend time in the pool with his family. Roger also enjoyed gardening and relaxing next to his Koi Pond. He also had a love for horses and enjoyed riding for many years. Roger was a man of many talents, enjoyed traveling and taking his family on vacation.
Roger leaves behind his spouse of 52 years Margaret nee (Eschenberg), and is survived by his children Joanne (John) Anderson, Dawn and Brian Marks, Debra Anderson, Roger (Melissa) Anderson and grandchildren Nicolas, Brian, Will, Brandy, Noah, Vesper, Adam, Autumn, and Ryleigh. Leaves behind siblings Joe Cline, Larry Cline, Sharon Anderson, and Sue Grover. Predeceased by parents Anna nee (Paul) and Lyman Anderson, siblings Patsy Horner, Lyman Anderson, Debbie Cline, and Sarah Anderson.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
