Roger Authement Obituary
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Samart of Bayou Blue location; 635 Bayou Blue Road, Houma LA 70364 from 9am to 11am with a memorial service to follow.
He is survived by his three daughters, Kristi Billiot (Adrian Billiot), Danielle Dupre (T-Rock), Jamie Authement ( Dennis); son, James Authement (Brittany);brothers, Elwon "Red" Authement and Todd ''Negg" Authement; sisters, Sherry Blanchard (Tommy) and Darlene Sevin (Philip); grandchildren, Kelsey Naquin (Tate), Jenna Billiot, Bayleigh Dupre (Zane), Abigail Billiot, Raynee Hendon (Brennon), Zane Dupre (Alaina), James Authment Jr (JJ), Sunnie Lirette, Bonnie Authement, Kendon Lirette, and Braizlee Authement; great-grandchildren, Kole, Kynlee, Jax, Myles, Avaleigh, and Levin.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Trahan Authement; parents, Elwon Authement Sr and Brunnella Guy Authement; brother, Kerry Authement; father and mother in law, Edward (Eddie) Trahan and Eva Trahan.
Jack was a hard-working man who loved to fish, be outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was a grandpa who thought the world of his children and grand and great grandchildren - his greatest joy was watching them grow and succeed. He had an endless love for his family. He always found joy in the simple things in life. He will be deeply missed.
