Roger Barnett, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, age 82, passed away suddenly on May 3,2024. Roger was born June 22, 1941, to Cecil and Ora Barnett. He was born in Willard, Ohio but went on to spend much of his adult life traveling the United States as a Minister, Mechanic and Business Owner. He and his family settled in Union County around 1980. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, his infant son Roger Jr., his grandson D.J., and great granddaughter Saylor Reese and 7 brothers and four sisters. 
He will be missed by his 2 sisters Jackie McKinney and Pearl Woodruff, his brother Ronnie Barnett, the mother of his children Rosanna Barnett, and 7 children: Kim(Marvin) Prose, Regina(Marvin) Seay, Rodney(Kim) Barnett, Faith Barnett, Hope(Eddie) Seay, Charity(David) Clemons, Ezra Barnett; his 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one soon to be great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends that he loved to talk to and spend time with.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A service to honor Roger will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Roger will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Elzey Chapel Cemetery.
