Loretta Joanna Sandridge, age 66, passed away peacefully on March3, 2026, at ET York Care Center in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on August 29, 1959, in Muncie, Indiana, to Marion Ennis and Rita Rooney Mansfield.
Throughout her life, Loretta primarily dedicated herself to her role as a homemaker. She was a woman of few words and generally kept to herself. Loretta's hobbies and interests brought her great joy; she spent countless hours quilting and crocheting blankets. Her love for canning and cooking filled her home with the scents of delicious meals. In her quieter moments, Loretta could be found engrossed in her favorite soap operas and court TV shows, which she cherished deeply.
Loretta is survived by her three daughters: Lorie (Tony) Bahde, Joni Dukes, and Elizabeth Hurst. She was grandmother to Tiffani, Kasie (Jon), Joseph (Sarah), Liberty (Cameron), Brayden, Andrew, and Robert. Loretta also was great-grandson, Zaiden, with another great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her mother, Rita Mansfield and sisters, Denise Kimball and Jill Joyner.
Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Marion Ennis and her sister, Rita Foxwell.
Though she led a life that was mostly private, her presence impacted the lives of many.
