Steven E. Sandridge, age 64, of Morral, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home in Morral.
Steve was born December 18, 1960, in Marion, Ohio, to Fred and Vena (Christman) Sandridge, both of whom are deceased. He married Cheryl Kin on May 9, 1992, and she survives.
He is survived by a son Cale (Jaime) Sandridge of Canal Winchester, Ohio, along with his brother, David (Shannin) Sandridge of Nevada, and a sister, Shari (ChuckClark) Ames of Sycamore.
He was a 1979 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and through the years helped out his father on the family farm. He recently retired from Star Turbine in Marion, where he worked in the shipping and receiving department. Before that Steve had worked for 19 years for Whirpool in Marion. He also owned and operated Grindel Sales for many years, where he manufactured and sold ammunitions
Steve enjoyed working out, and being outside, whether it was mowing his yard, or riding snowmobiles or motorcycles. He also enjoyed his heavy metal music and was an avid lottery player.
He will be remembered for his infectious smile, and his gift of conversation. He loved his family, and enjoyed along with Cheryl, going to Cale’s many sporting events through the years.
Funeral services for Steven E. Sandridge will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 17, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to The H Association to support Heidelberg Athletics, and or the Rams Athletic Boosters, and can be sent to Lucas Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
