Mr. Roger Dale Beasley, age 70 of Stuart, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Stuart Community Hospital. He was born on May 12, 1955, in Patrick County to the late Charlie Beasley and Gladys Mankins Beasley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Beasley, Ralph Beasley, and Sammy Beasley; a sister-in-law, Ruby Beasley; and two nephews, Mike Beasley and Allen Beasley. Roger was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was an exceptionally kind, giving, humble, and vastly brave man. He was a hard-working, gifted, and talented craftsman who was a simple man that did not like to draw attention to himself. Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy Vipperman Beasley; three children, Shane Beasley (Danielle Martin), Kevin Wood (Angelia Goins) and Lori Morrison (Michael); seven grandchildren, Jansen Wood (Stephanie), Preston Morrison (Morgan), Logan Morrison, Carrigan Bishop (Jared), Madelyn Morrison, Ethan Morrison (Marissa) and Deklynn Goins; three great-grandchildren, Everett Wood, Easton Wood and Archer Morrison; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Ruth Vaughn; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Carroll.
Funeral services for Mr. Beasley will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Ramsey and Pastor Randy Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of Christ Cemetery, Stuart. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 18075 A.L.
