CUMBERLAND

Roger A. Beauvais, 82, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Hope Health in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Szpila) Beauvais, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

He worked for 38 years as a machinist and forklift operator with General Cable, formerly Carol Cable, before his retirement. Roger took great pride in maintaining his cars and enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and Bermuda.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Norman Beauvais of Chepachet, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Edmond, Frankie, Roland, Normand, Richard, and Maurice Beauvais; Mary Egan; Marielle Mosley; and Dolores Guerrier.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Roger's life with a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Aidan / St. Patrick Parish, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are entrusted to J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, Cumberland.
