Roger J Beukema, age 82, of Holland passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Holland Hospital.
Roger retired from Padnos Holland after 42 years of service. And was a member of Calvary on 8th church in Holland.
Roger really loved traveling with his wife Sharon, especially the cruises to Alaska and Hawaii. He was often found at the Holland State Park either fishing, or just simply watching all the people enjoying Lake Michigan.
Roger was one who would talk to anybody and everybody.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Vivian (Kuipers) Beukema.
He is survived by his wife Sharon of over 52 years and children: Kevin Beukema of Gaylord, MI, and Steven (Angela) Beukema of Latrobe, PA; grandchildren: Sofia, Dakota, and Logan; sisters: Patricia Fought of Holland, and Mary Vander Maat of Portage, MI; brother: Gary (Arla) Beukema of Holland; brother-in-law: David (Leslee) Caauwe; many nieces, nephews, and cousins
A funeral service will be 11 am, Friday, May 23, 2025, at Dykstra Funeral Homes – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Reverend Dan Carter will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service at the Mulder chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
