ORANGE, CA-Roger Carl Bollinger, Jr., 63, passed away far too soon on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, after battling lung cancer.
Born August 29, 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Roger C. Bollinger Sr. and Mariam (Eichorn) Rall. After graduating high school, Roger went on to serve in the 28th Signal Division of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and then actively served in the United States Army before being honorably discharged. After his military career, Roger worked in construction for many years.
He is survived by his father, Roger C. Bollinger Sr., of Andover, OH; his mother, Mariam Rall of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Dawn Bollinger Mucho of Pittsburgh, PA and Danielle L. Bollinger of South Carolina; stepmother, Millie Bollinger of Andover, OH; aunt, Betty Bollinger; in-laws, David Salinger, his wife, Gayle and their daughter, Victoria of Orange County, CA, as well as numerous cousins.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Alysia Levide; paternal grandmother, Mildred Bollinger and his paternal grandfather, John B. Bollinger.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, OH.
