Roger Bortell Obituary
Roger S Bortell, 82, of Inverness, Fla, passed away on November 1, 2024. Roger was born on March 22, 1942 in Indianola, IA. and graduated from Indianola High School. He enjoyed golfing and watching the Dolphins and University of Miami football. After serving in Germany in the US Air Force he worked as car rental manager and for Citrus County Transit. Roger was pre-deceased by his parents, Harry and Helen Bortell. He is survived by his brother, Robert F Bortell of The Villages and sister, Harriet Day of Lecanto, and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Bushnell National Cemetary on Friday, November 29 at 10:30 am.
