Roger Carter Obituary
Roger Devoe Carter was born October 29, 1947, in Wyatt, Missouri to the late Troy Devoe Carter and Esther Virginia Stewart Carter. For many years he was employed as a driver for various wrecker services.
Surviving is his sister, Martha Knupp of Anniston, MO and his son, Derek Wade (Linda) Carter of Deer Park, Texas; two grandsons, Derek Wade Carter Jr and Corey (Autumn) Carter; three granddaughters, Arianna Johnson, Faith Leather and Hope Carter; three great grandsons, Bryson Carter, Harlan Carter and Ethan Carter; two great granddaughters, Kensley Carter and Mercy Carter; one aunt, Verla Carter Humphrey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; his son; Roger Devoe Carter; his brothers, Troy David Carter, LeeRoy Carter; his sisters, Mary Ann Carter, Ella Sue "Susie" Carter Hebert, and Donna Faye Carter Endsley Brogdon and his brother-in-law, Jerry Knupp.
Family and friends may assemble beginning at 1:30 p.m. until time for memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO. His niece, pastor Shiela Groves, will officiate.
Burial will be at the Anniston Cemetery in Anniston, MO.
