Of Cheektowaga, NY. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee DeBoy) Fryling and the late Janise (nee Bigelow) Fryling; devoted father of Roger F. (Kathy) Fryling, Jr., Cathy (James) Hedges and Christopher (JoAnn) Fryling; dear step-father of Richard (Kathleen) Pifer, Cheryl (Michael) Dann, Marolie (David) Russell and the late Mark Pifer; loving grandfather of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services held privately at the convenience of the family. Roger was proud of the time he served in the Navy on the USS Comstock LSD-14. He will be remembered by all for his kindness, humor and positive outlook on life; but most of all.. how proud he was of his family. A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date. Roger, Chris, and Cathy sorry to see of your Dad´s passing. I can still see him going for a walk around the block carrying his umbrella or throwing footballs in the street to all the kids, truly a nice person who will be missed
