It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger John Gargan, on 10/12 /2024 following a brief illness.
Roger proudly served his country in the army from 1957 to 1963. He was a dedicated employee and finished his career as a store manager and profit counselor calling on 40 independent grocery stores.
He will be remembered as a thinker. He was a man with a kind and gentle spirit. He had a deep commitment to his family and friends. He believed in honor and that kindness and honesty mattered always.
He is preceded in death by his parents Anna and Henry Gargan, his siblings, Wilmer Gargan, Sophie Oswald, Violet Uhaley, David Gargan and his beloved Ethel. He is survived by cherished friends, especially Sharon and Robert Huettner and Jacque Daul. He was the beloved Uncle of his niece Sue Pallister and his nephew Mark Gargan. He is further survived by numerous family members and friends.
Roger was a lifelong learner. He loved travel and was a huge sport and Nascar fan. Roger loved animals, especially his dog Sam and cat Bucky. There will truly never be another Roger. Rest easy, Rog. You won the race.
Hartson Funeral Home will be serving the family. A visitation with services to follow honoring Roger's life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church located at W196 N9525 Cross View Way in Menomonee Falls, WI on October 27, 2024, with a visitation beginning at 3:30pm followed by a service at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Humane Society will be appreciated.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
