Roger Allen Gilmore, born July 31, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on September 13, 2025, in Oak Grove, Missouri. He was 65 years old.

Roger grew up in Kansas City and attended Northeast High School. His interest in technology led him to pursue further education in electronics, where he developed skills that became a lifelong passion. Whether building computers from the ground up or playing his guitars, Roger found fulfillment in hands-on creativity. He had a natural talent for tinkering – always eager to take things apart and improve the. He also had an interest in aviation and had worked toward earning his pilot's license.

Roger is survived by his wife, Jeannette of Arkansas; his son, David of Arkansas; his daughter, Chrissy of Arkansas; and his brother, Wayne of Harrisonville, Missouri. He also leaved behind five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberta and Howard Gilmore of Kansas City; his sisters, Betty Rivas (Richard) and Mary (Billy), both of Blue Springs, Missouri; Beverly Douthit (Roger) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his brother Arthur Gilmore (Donna) of Kansas City, Missouri.

Roger's hands were rarely still – whether tuning a guitar or assembling a motherboard – and through those hands he left behind a legacy of curiosity and craftsmanship. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
