Roger Heckaman Obituary

He was born on July 10th, 1952, in Jackson, Michigan to Harold and Mildred (Fuller) Heckaman. He married the love of his life, Kathryn, on November 6th, 1970, in Chelsea, Michigan. Roger will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had a strong passion for playing cards, especially euchre. He loved spending time with his friends and family at the Eagles. Roger first became a member of the Eagles in 1989 and later became president of the club and continued serving proudly until his passing.
Roger's kindness, generosity, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his warmth, laughter, and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of his children, Christina Heckaman-Moore and Eric (Jodi) Heckaman; and his grandchildren, Brittney (Jared) Roy, Macy Moore, and Rylan Heckaman; brothers, Randy (Marcia) Heckaman, Rex (Mary Jo) Heckaman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Kathryn.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Roger at the Brooklyn Fraternity of the Eagles 3689, 9500 Wamplers Lake Rd, Brooklyn, MI 49230 with a time and date still to be determined.
