Roger Winston Hensley, age 80, of Camden, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Hensley was born on July 24, 1944, in Benton County, TN. He was the son of the late Arthur and Della Scott Hensley and loving husband of Clara Jean Hensley. Mr. Hensley was also preceded in death by brothers, Bruin Hensley, William “Bill” Hensley, Arthur “Jr.” Hensley, Jack Hensley, Elbert Dee Hensley; half-brothers, Bill Hensley and Buford Hensley; sisters, Adele Dacus, Lucy Laney, Lattie Dean Wallace, and Nell Thornton; and a great granddaughter, Katie Claire McMinn. He worked at Foot Mineral and retired from Thompson Machinery. Mr. Hensley was a charter member of the Legend Cruisers Car Club. He also loved deer hunting, racing, duck hunting, camping, and was an avid outdoorsman. Roger restored many cars and loved drag racing. His love for cars brought a lot of joy to his family. He loved playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Roger attended Grace Baptist Church for many years.

Great Grandchildren: Raelynn Flowers, Callyn Cripps, Will Cripps, Maverick McKinnon, Kash McKinnon, Jaylee and Dallis Prince, Adelyn Belisle, Jett Scharlow, Ryder Scharlow, Scout Spivey, Kendall Jo Spivey, Marlie Gray McMinn
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Greer and Bro. Mike Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Camden, TN.
