Roger G. Hill, 88, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Middletown, Indiana. He was born April 12, 1936 in Somerset, Kentucky. He retired after 40 years of service with GM/Delco Remy in 1998. He was a member of Union local 662 and also a member of Oak Grove/White Oak Bounty Church.
Roger is survived by his son, Patrick (Lynn) Hill; Grandchildren, Codie (Shaun) Watts & Cheyenne (Bonifacio) Avila; 4 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Augustine and Angelo Avila and Skylar Watts; Siblings, Randall Hill & Glenna "Carol" Clark; and several nieces & nephews.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Gerte (Davis) Hill; daughter, Robin Hill; & several brothers & sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson. A visitation will be 10:30-12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alternativesdv.org.
