Roger Dale Hillen, 66, of Moberly Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 29, 2025.
He was born on January 8, 1959, in Moberly, Missouri, to Paul and Ollie (Hendren) Hillen. Roger graduated in 1977 from Moberly high school.
Roger was known for his ornery personality and loved making jokes that could light up a room. His laughter and playful spirit were truly infectious, bringing joy to those fortunate enough to have known him. Beyond his sense of humor, Roger was passionate about gardening, farming, hunting, fishing, and fabrication. He also enjoyed playing guitar and cooking, often sharing these interests with his family and friends. Watching westerns was a favorite pastime, and he truly enjoyed spending time outside, connecting with nature and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
Roger is survived by his children; Jennifer Hillen of Moberly, MO, and sons; Elijah (Ashley) Hillen of Cairo, MO and Ezra (Abbey) Hillen of Huntsville, MO, Grandchildren; Dusty and Autumn Hillen and Kylee and Madison Brooks, siblings; Rhonda (Neil) Hall of Huntsville, MO, Robyn (Jim) Ehrett of Cairo, MO, Regina Hillen of Moberly, MO, Renae Hillen Seaborn of Six Mile, SC, and Russell Hillen of Moberly, MO, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Ollie Hillen, daughters; Heather and Brandi Hillen and sons; Waylon and Noah Hillen.

A Memorial Gathering to honor Roger will take place on January 13, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 1:00 PM at the Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel, located at 411 Union Ave, Moberly, Missouri, 65270.
As family and friends come together to remember Roger, they will celebrate a life well-lived, filled with fond memories and a spirit that will remain in their hearts forever.
