Roger Phillip Hodges, son of Robert P. Hodges and Nola Rudder Hodges passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, while in the loving care of his family. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Hodges of London, KY, and four children: Christopher Hodges, Julian Hodges, Amanda Brummett, and Kevin Spencer.

Mr. Roger Phillip Hodges is a graduate of Laurel County High School - Class of 1980, and of Eastern Kentucky University. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, United States Army, and Army National Guard.

Mr. Roger Phillip Hodges was also a passionate Christian missionary who enjoyed traveling to Uganda, Africa to deliver medical aid, food, and supplies to impoverished children, as well as spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In his 63 years, Mr. Roger Phillip Hodges made a positive impact on many. He was charismatic, bold, passionate about life, and enjoyed fishing, the beach, and spending time in Key West, FL. Most importantly, Roger Phillip Hodges was proud of his three children and would often brag about his two sons being United States Marines and his daughter being a school teacher in Laurel County.

Although his family and friends are saddened by his untimely passing, they take great comfort in knowing that he is now in Heaven with Jesus, walking among family and friends.
