Survivors include his daughters, Serita Diane Hurst Melton and Wendy Michelle Hurst; grandchildren, Amanda Hurst Stump, Jacob Dale Hurst, Robert "Devan" Hurst, and Bryanna Hurst; great grandchildren, Hunter, Jaxxon, Izabella and Roman; sisters, Joyce Elaine Kemp, Jerry Lou Horton, Penny (John) Bruce, and Melissa (Wookie) Thompson; very special dog, Bucky the Corgi; Serita and Wendy's mother, Ruby Anderson; close relative, Gordon Hurst; and many other relatives and friends in Virginia and Tennessee.
