Roger Ivey, 64, of Hermansville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Roger was born on June 30, 1961 in Dearborn, MI, son of the late Herbert "Herb" and Olive (Ayotte) Ivey.

He worked as a forklift operator at Wendricks Truss for over 40 years.

An avid outdoorsman, Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and played with the band Night Train as their drummer for many years. Above all, Roger enjoyed spending time with his family.

Among survivors include his sons, Ethan (Danielle) and Wyatt (Shameka) Ivey; grandchildren, Breea, Bradley, Nethan'el, and Willow; siblings, Gail Pavlat, Cheryl Wendricks, David (Cheri) Ivey, and Joanne (Ed) Beaudoin.

Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Preaseau; and bothers-in-law, Norman Preseau and Doug Wendricks.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Condolences can be directed to the family at www.crawfordfuneralhomes.net. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.
